about

I started out when I was about eight with a Boy Scout box camera and a flash attachment that used flash bulbs.  I moved up to the family 8mm movie camera and then became the yearbook photographer at Champaign Centennial High-school.  Later, my wife wanted to learn how to take pictures.  She signed up for a photography class, and I signed on too.  We shot a roll of slides every week for homework.  We had to pick three of our best to show the class.  The class and teacher would critique our work.  If I could just get paid to take pictures I’d change careers in heart beat.
